Beverly Dotson is a dedicated MSW who has been working, educating and providing resources to underserved populations via hospice, home health, mentoring, palliative care and community outreach. A graduate of the University of Missouri with a Masters Certificate in Non-profit Management in Leadership, she holds a Master’s degree from the St. Louis University School of Social Work, and is a graduate of Fontbonne University, with double minors in Psychology and Sociology. Beverly currently works at Christian Hospital as the Palliative Care Social Worker and continues to work as a hospice social worker, which she has done for over 12 years. Beverly works with people of diverse backgrounds, tackling barriers to overcome challenges in health care, while dispelling common myths in Urban communities which often keep families from making informed choices and utilizing available services. An active volunteer, she works with The Empowerment Network as the Secretary, assisting men who are stricken and/or survivors of prostate cancer. Beverly also is a co-host of the Healthy Focus Radio Show, a weekly show airing in the St. Louis metropolitan area, where she calls home. Beverly is the proud mother of a 25 year-old daughter and one-year-old grandson.
